Students in Honolulu Community College’s Sheet Metal and Plastics program are reintroducing their popular Valentine’s Day roses, crafted out of sheet metal and copper, that loved ones can keep forever.

The students have crafted sheet metal roses for several years, that always sell out, and this year are creating a limited number of the handmade roses from copper.

The roses will be available at HCC Building 17 from 9:30 a.m. Feb. 14 until they are sold out. Past history has shown you'd better be there before noon.

The sheet-metal roses are $5, and the copper roses are $15. Funds raised will benefit the program. For more information, call 845-9237.

Also timed for Valentine's Day, Roberta Oaks' Love Sale continues through Feb. 14, with 10 percent off select bags and jewelry by Be Bliss, Elije and Salty Girl, and free gift with purchase of items from RO and Kai.

Online shoppers can use the code LOVERO to get the discount.

Shop 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and tomorrow.

The RO boutique is at 19 N. Pauahi St.
