Whole Foods hosts Beauty Week

Whole Foods Market has launched its inaugural Beauty Week, through March 24, in keeping with its focus on whole body wellness.

Whole Foods will be offering its first beauty bag full of products for $18 during its inaugural Beauty Week.

Whole Foods will be offering its first beauty bag full of products for $18 during its inaugural Beauty Week.

The store's Whole Body department will host events, classes, demos and promotions highlighting the market's selection of personal care products and cosmetics that support people and planetary health.

During Beauty Week, ball Whole Foods Market locations will offer a curated, limited-edition “Hello, Beauty!” bag for $18 (valued at $60), beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, while supplies last. Each bag is filled with six exclusive product samples: Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub, Acure Cell Stimulating Facial Mask, Giovanni 2chic Ultra Repair Shampoo, Pacifica Eye Shadow Duo or Lipstick, Trilogy Vital Moisturizing Cream and Gabriel Mascara, plus $5 in beauty coupons. The bags are made with 100 percent cotton recycled saris from RIJI Green, a business committed to ending human trafficking.

From Friday through Sunday, shoppers can also save 25 percent on all facial care items.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY

Juice Beauty makeovers: The brand that utilizes organic fruit juice blends in place of water to create antioxidant-rich products now has a makeup line. To mark its debut at Whole Foods, there will be mini facials and makeovers featuring the line, from 10 a.m. tp 6:30 p.m.

THURSDAY

DIY body scrubs: Learn to keep your skin soft and supple with an all-natural DIY scrub. Receive a starter kit of ingredients and the recipe to make it at home, plus a jar of coffee scrub. A $10 donation is requested, to benefit Whole Planet Foundation projects, 5 to 7 p.m. 5 to 7 p.m.

FRIDAY

Smoky Eye Workshop: Learn to create a sultry smokey eye. Receive an eye kit from Pacifica, a 100 percent vegan line of skin care, makeup, and fragrances. A $10 donation is requested, to benefit Whole Planet Foundation projects, 5 to 7 p.m.

MONDAY

Andalou Naturals demo: Sample items from Andalou Naturals’ 1000 Roses™ skin care line, which features the 1000 Roses Complex and Alpine Rose Stem Cells to soothe and soften sensitive skin. During the demo only, shoppers will receive a discount on products from the line, noon to 6 p.m.

Beauty From the Inside Out: Sample salads created to support healthy skin, 5 to 7 p.m.

FRIDAY

Natural Hair Event: Kinks, Coils, and Curls—Naturalistas of Oahu offers a how-to for hair that thirsts for deep conditioning, featuring hydrating hair treatments using items like avocadoes, shea butter, honey, and more, 5 to 7 p.m.

SATURDAY

DIY Beauty Class: Learn to make your own beauty products with Nature's Way coconut oil as a key ingredient, beginning 10 a.m. in the parking lot lanai. The morning will start with a yoga stretch before creating toothpaste and a lip exfoliator. A $25 fee includes all supplies, samples and a donation to the Whole Planet Foundation. Space is limited. Make reservations at the store's customer service desk.
